This rub goes best with any cut of lamb, indoors or out.  We don't think this rub needs anything else to finish it.  Lamb and rosemary are a classic pairing for a reason.  We added garlic and oregano to the mix as complimentary flavors that still let the lamb take the spotlight.  This will go well with other red meats as well (beef, venison, elk etc).  It also makes killer grilled or roasted potatoes.

At Dirty Apron we’ve never understood why rubs don’t sell well.  They are a great way to bring layers of flavor to your grill, and what is simpler than popping open a lid and sprinkling some seasoning on your meat.  If it takes more than two minutes you’re doing it wrong.  Sprinkle generously on your meat or vegetable, rub in gently and grill.

While most of these rubs have a specific meat in the name you should feel free to experiment.  The name is just what I use them for the most, almost all of them get used on a wide variety of grilled food.

Our rubs are made in small batches in our Homestead Certified kitchen.  There are no additives in our rubs so if you find a clump simply break it up with your fingers when you find it.
